PISGAH
The Pisgah National Forest in Western North
Carolina is named after Mt. Pisgah.  Mt. Pisgah is
named after a Holy Land in the Bible.  The Land of
Milk and Honey.  And, how sweet it is.

Pisgah is
Home to many.  Whether you're
mountainbiking, cycling, hiking, camping, riding a
horse or testing your
motor skills.  The Pisgah
National Forest will test you.  It can be the most
serene and beautiful place in the world.  It can also
be the place of your worst nightmare.  Pisgah
demands respect.  Very God like, it will smack you
when you get cocky.  Yeah, you can go out and get
lucky a few times.  That's when you'd better listen to
the voice in your head that says, "You got enough
food and water?  Do you have something to protect
you from the cold, wind and rain that blow in out of
nowhere?  Do you have an extra tube?  Do you
have a chain tool and lube?  How about that extra
derailleur hanger?  Do you have a gun and a
chainsaw?  And my favorite, "Do you hear
banjos?"
Pisgah and Mother Nature go hand-in-hand.
Regardless, Pisgah is one of the best places to get
out and enjoy nature.

"Nature bequeaths its own blessing to those who
immerse themselves in it."  -
Steven Covey

For me, Pisgah is a place of inspiration.  A soul
searching place.  Some people need to go to
church.  I go to Pisgah.

Pisgah fills me up like a hot lady at a full service gas
station.  First, there's the meet'n greet.  Then you
tell her to "Fill it up".  And you'd better say "Please".
While the gas is pumpin, she's checkin your tires.
You don't want to be under inflated on the road
she's takin you down.  Then she gets under your
hood.  She knows what to look for and where to find
it.  She tops off the fluids and doesn't miss a drop.
Before you leave, she cleans the glass.  You can
see clearly now.  "Have a nice day at the Pisgah
Cafe.  Come back soon." ...And you'll be back.
